Plumbing & Drains
If the drains in your rental home aren't working properly, there is likely a clog in the pipes. You can often clear a small clog using a household plunger. Simply press the plunger over the drain hole to create suction and pump up and down vigorously.
To prevent ongoing problems, consider installing drain traps to prevent hair and debris from entering your pipes. You should also be careful never to drain fats and oils, as these can cause clogs.
Toilet Issues
If your toilet isn't working properly, you may be able to restore function with a standard plunger. Flush the toilet once and then use the plunger to try to force the blockage through the drain.
If you continue to have problems, contact us using the tenant portal link below.
If you lose electrical power in your home, call your utility provider to learn what is causing the issue. Temporary outages may occur during bad weather or when construction is taking place nearby.
If your home is the only property affected in your neighborhood, you may have tripped the breaker. Locate your circuit breaker and make sure it's in the ON position.
If you lose access to hot water in your rental property, locate your tank and verify that the temperature settings are accurate.
If your home's heat or air conditioning doesn't seem to be working, first check your central thermostat. After verifying that the thermostat settings are accurate, contact us if you continue to have problems.
